Shipping container Sauna Cabin V7

Disposable shipping containers? We found a way to reuse them by turning them into beautiful garden sheds. This gives the container a whole new function in life and avoids waste pollution. All the steel we cut for windows and doors is recycled. Each container has a past life in shipping and has traveled a lot. Just like laugh lines appear on human faces, containers also have scratches and quirks along the way. Each container is unique and these imperfections remain visible on the cabin, but do not take away from its beauty.

Exterior coating:

Siberian larch exterior cladding 20 x 95 mm

Siberian larch wood is highly resinous and extremely strong. It is one of the most durable and long-lasting softwoods in the world. Siberian larch benefits from its impressive dimensional stability, low costs, low maintenance costs and high production standards.

Window :

Door and windows with black PVC frame. Argon-filled double-tempered glass 6 + 6 mm. The color of the frames is variable within the window manufacturer's offers.

Insulation:

Closed-cell polyurethane foam was used as insulation. The polyurethane foam closes all air spaces. This keeps your V7 sauna cabin cool in summer and warm in winter without straining your finances. The roof is insulated from the inside with a 150 mm thick layer, the walls from the inside with a 50 mm thick layer and the floor with a 100 mm thick layer.

Interior trim:

The interior walls and ceiling are covered with Scandinavian spruce. The spruce wood is protected with OSMO wood wax and thus provides a water and dirt-resistant surface.

Earth :

The container floor was removed and replaced with a new thermally insulated floor. Oak flooring was used as flooring. For you, this means comfort, style and durability that will last for generations.

Bathroom:

50L boiler, Adora shower fittings. The colour of the shower fitting can be chosen – gold, chrome or black.
