This used 20ft x 8ft open top container is available for sale and delivery throughout Europe.

Open top containers do not have the conventional corrugated steel container roof. Instead, they have removable arches and a weatherproof tarpaulin that can be secured with ropes. This greatly simplifies the loading and unloading process which is usually done by crane from above. The door lintel (above the door) can also be rotated/removed to allow easy access to the cargo.

Open top containers are ideal for moving machinery. The container should be shipped with the bows and tarpaulin which also provide some strength. If the machinery is high up, you will usually need to use a flat rack container without a roof. Tie-down rings are provided to secure the load during transport.
